Every shot was contested in the last game between the Cherry Creek and Grandview girls basketball teams, as Alisha Davis (5) and the Wolves got the better of Cali Clark (12) and the Bruins 54-53. AURORA | The combined cold and snow that hit the Metro area Wednesday prompted all of the city’s school districts to cancel after schools activities.

In addition to practices, a good sized-slate of contests were lost, including the EMAC Championship dual matches scheduled to take place at Hinkley.

On the basketball floor, Centennial League doubleheaders were postponed, including the anticipated rematch of the Grandview and Cherry Creek girls basketball teams.

Arapahoe was to visit Smoky Hill, Cherokee Trail was at Overland and Eaglecrest had road games at Mullen that will need to rescheduled.

The Gateway boys’ home game with Northglenn and the Olys’ girls trip to play on the Norse’s home court also need to be rescheduled.
