Season highlights: On a team that experienced nearly complete turnover from a nine-win squad the previous season, coach Harry Sledge relied a lot on the contributions of Clayton in each game as Hinkley finished 3-19. The All-East Metro Athletic Conference second team selection had the ball in her hands quite often for the Thunderbirds and she led the team with a scoring average of 9.4 points per game, a vast improvement on her average of 3.7 points per game as a sophomore, with a season-high of 19 points come against Aurora West Prep. From the point guard position, she led her team with 1.3 assists per game and also chipped in 1.6 rebounds per contest. Clayton is a first-time A-Town All-Star Girls Games selection.
