Season highlights: Johnson picked up both his leadership and his statistical contributions for Vista PEAK this season, as helped the Bison to a 15-10 record, East Metro Athletic Conference runner-up status and the second round of the Class 4A state playoffs in the first season under coach Keenon Clement. The All-EMAC first team posted Aurora’s highest scoring average for the season at 18.9 points per game, as he scored in doubles figures in all 25 games he played in and saved his best for last with back-to-back 29-point performances in the playoffs against Standley Lake and Valor Christian. Johnson also led his team with 3.4 assists per game and ranked fourth on the Bison with 1.3 steals per contest.
