DENVER | Colorado prosecutors have charged a 19-year-old woman with being the bank robber the FBI dubbed the “Glamour Shot Bandit.”

The Denver District Attorney’s Office alleges Brianna Casias dressed in elaborate disguises while robbing or trying to rob eight banks between March 22 and May 8, getting away with nearly $17,000.

Charging documents said the robber passed bank tellers a note telling them to “please give me 100’s, 50’s and 20’s.”

In one case, the robber pulled a black semi-automatic handgun.

Casias was arrested May 10 and charged Friday with aggravated robbery, five counts of robbery, two counts of attempted robbery along with menacing, theft and tampering with evidence.

She remained jailed Friday. Court records don’t indicate if she has an attorney who could comment on her behalf.
