Police said Nathan Elliott Burleson, 30, of Morrison, was arrested Wednesday evening and is being charged with a false report of an explosive device (a felony), and interference of staff, faculty or students of an educational facility.

Aurora police, arson and campus police crews found no device or suspicious packages after sweeping buildings on the Anschutz Medical Campus Wednesday afternoon after a bomb threat was received.

The threat was received around 3:30 p.m., at which point security officials for the campus then contacted Aurora police. Aurora police Officer Diana Cooley, a spokeswoman for the department, said Aurora police are assisting campus police with the call. Multiple police units, including arson units, helped campus police sweep the multiple towers of the inpatient pavilion for any suspicious packages.

University of Colorado Health spokesman Dan Weaver said the threat did not interrupt regular operations of the hospital.
